We had a fantastic Easter, the Easter bunny found Jenaya & Kai, as always left way too many eggs..... Not that I think they will go to waste, but just too many. With Nanny in town and Daisy the dogs arrival it was always going to be a great day.
We got to spend the day with Nanny, Daisy the dog and our very good friends The Herrmann's, who are part of our Singaporean family.
We had the menu all planned out, slow roasted lamb shoulder - Marty roasted this baby on the BBQ for a good 5 hours, with Gav's rustic gravy, then there was the couscous salad and potato bake, followed by a homemade malteser ice-cream cake, for the kiddies and a cheese platter for the grown ups, oh and chocolate of course. It was just scrummmmmy.
In between course's there was the Easter egg hunt - the eggs were hidden, the buckets handed to the kids and then the starters gun, they were off..... the eggs were everywhere... After a action packed 10 minutes all egg were account for, buckets full and by now more room in their chocolate stomach's to eat more eggs ahhhhhh.......
We all hand a fantastic day, but having so much fun really does wear you out, lucky we have 12 months to recover.
So to all, we hope your Easter was as much fun us ours and you got to spend it with some very special friends or family like we did
