Our New Passion

Szechuan Cuisine Oh Yummo. We probably need to thank Bonnie & Mark for putting us on to this extremely delicious food.

On this occasion we had pre ordered the Chilli Crab is was divine, though hard work it was well worth it. I have a feeling this restaurant might become our new favourite please to eat. Oh yeah the beer helps cool the palate (that's my story & I'm sticking to it)...

Monkey Boy & I Also Managed

to squeeze a quick trip in to Singapore for 2 days.

For me it was to see my specialist for Kai it was to have a catch up with his best mate Christopher.

What a blast we had......

Friday saw us hit Universal Studio's for a good 7 hours of fun and way too many rides. Saturday Kai & Christopher just hung around Christopher's pool & did what they have alway done together - wear each other out. After a evening of catching up with the whole Kelly-Wong family it was back to the hotel and a early morning flight back home.

Was a great couple of days & I think it has made Kai's year by spending a couple of days with his bestie.

So The Birthday Partying Is Over

FINALLY I can hear people say (Not mentioning any name's Dad Goodacre). Moose man beat me to the punch in the up dating. So since the Birthday is well and truly over, I have been hitting the trail to budge the birthday bulge......  The weather has been extremely nice hiking weather not too hot or humid, not too chilly billy as Goldie Locks once said Just Right. Anywho Daisy & I have been to the peak a few times in the past week, last Tuesday was perfect, but Friday I am afraid to say not so perfect.

Hong Kong 7's ... very cool weekend

Kai and I have been at the 7's since early Saturday morning at HK Stadium.  A seriously great event, well run - good rugby - good crowd and amazing spectacle on our first time. Fantastic to see Hong Kong do so well in the early rounds, & two of Kai's coaches playing in the run-on team.  We had a massive storm on Saturday which resembled midnight and hosing down ...

Mr Butter Chicken came down with some viral thing on sunday and we legged it after the quarters. After a big sleep & a decent hit of neurofen the big fella was back on his game and we watched the semis and finals via livestream for dinner.

Kai boy, and midnight at the stadium - except its really just 11am !!

A couple of pics which really don't do the event justice.
the crazy but entertaining South Stand

Getting beaten in the lineout by Canada ?

Aust v Canada - half time

From last weekend .....

A quick blat up the mountain with Daisy to high West in the dark for sunrise.  Looking down into Pok Fu Lam & our apartment in #1, and back into Central Hong Kong in #2

and then off to the Beach 7's at Repulse Bay with Mr Butter Chicken.

Good to put the feet up finally ....

It's been a busy weekend - rugby - football - more rugby. 7's at the stadium and footy out at Tuen Mun with Noodle.  For the hecklers complaining no blogs we will catch up ....  just been a little under the pump.

And we worked up a decent appetite over the weekend, and happy to have a couple of glasses of vino on a Sunday night to help it along the way !   Just watched the 7's final on the pc live streaming - congrats to the kiwis ..
