So While We Were Away

Kai and Marty got to do some bonding..... Well kind of. Kai got to play Nurse Wendy for the weekend.......

Fo those who didn't know - the big fella is getting old, so the time had come to start the rebuild, the first thing on the list - his right hip........

No no I really don't have it in me to take the mickey out of him that much...... well........ Anywho, Moose had a hip operation last Thursday night - apparently too much of him doing the bump and the bus stop when he was a teenager had worn the old ligaments down and they had to be fixed, and fixed they were. He isn't back on the disco floor yet but it isn't too far away now, which I am sure you are all very excited about - cause the big fella can move - giddy up. Now to the little Nurse Wendy - by all accounts the young fella was pretty helpful - So while Jenaya and I were away having a hoot (see below) the boys were having their own fun....

Anyway Moose was back at it yesterday with his under 9's soccer team - as you can see not a problems with the mouth area or his pointy finger - It's good to have you back to your sparking self again Moose Man.

Stayed tuned for Moose doing the bus stop somewhere near you very soon.....

Sorry It Has Been A Little While

since my last blog. Anywho, last weekend Jenaya and I headed up to Malaysia for a soccer tournament. We had a blast. I wasn't really looking forward to the 5 hour bus ride to KL with a bunch of soccer Mum's & Dad's that I really didn't know well - but you will be happy to know the bus ride was lots of fun and the weekend was a absolute hoot.... But back to the hooting soon.

Jenaya had a super tournament and her team came in second - a pretty great result. Her team played really well, they had some very tough matches with some very largish girls - that seemed very old looking for under 14's ????? But we are not going to point any fingers. Back to Jenaya and her soccer........ The weather was hot very hot and the games were very long in that heat, Noodle only got to sit off for I think a total of 5 minutes over the whole weekend, so she really was the work horse of the team - that's what happens when your the fittest on the team and one of the strongest players. She even got to share the team captaincy with another young lady and not that I am bias or anything - she did a superb job and conducted herself so very well - she made me so very proud. Great tournament Naya - Now you have a international fan base.

Now to the adults part of the weekend - Like I said I really didn't know anyone that well, had only met them at training sessions and the Milo tournament last year - so into unknown waters for me. What a great bunch of Mum's and Dad's, I like Jenaya was very fortunate to meet some really nice people and of course a few cold ale's were consumed (Jenaya didn't join in to the ale thingy ok) - well it was hot up there very hot.

We both had a great time and made some new friends - which is great, seeing all of ours are leaving of left..... (Chill Francie your still my bestie)
