Lots of Visitors

Have been knocking on our door this week. First there was Ralph the red bear, for those of you who don't know him he is Kai's class bear. Every week he surprises someone in his class by going home with them. This week, boy oh boy, how lucky was Kai, Ralph came home with him. Then on the very same night we had some other visitor's turn up......Jenaya and Kai's cousin's (and my brother and sister in law) Nathan, Aaron, Craig and Donna. We were so excited, we had so much fun with them all, we showed them about, took them swimming, had lots of laughs, fun, fun, fun. The saddest thing is was they only stayed with us for 2 nights. It was so great having them with us and so sad to see them go. Maybe next time it will be a longer stay. Then more sadness, Ralph's stay with us had come to an end, we had fun with him, but he is a little quiet for me.

We do have lots more visitors in a weeks time, very much looking forward to catching up with Dianna and David and also a friend who we haven't seen for a few years or 5 Jeff. Visitors are always fun.

Then There Was Disneyland.....

Boy did we go hard at Mickey's place. We arrived Monday at about 6.15 at 6.30 we were screaming our heads off on our first roller coaster and we didn't stop that night until Goofey turn the lights off. Tuesday was basically the same, Wednesday I felt like I had done 10 rounds with a bus - too many roller coasters or is it age, I'm going with the roller coaster story. We had a great time, a totally wicked time, a awesome time. Saturday came around way too fast but I must say we were all Disneyed out. As we headed to the airport Pluto under one arm and Mickey under the other we all had huge smiles on, dark circles under the eyes, lots of tales to tell, memories of fun, fun, fun. What a place, what a great time was had by all the Moose's big and small. We will be going back were the last words uttered out of Daddy Moose's mouth as he nodded off to a disney slumber.

Time Just Flew By

They say that means you are having a good time, good time, well actually we had a FANTASTIC time in Vancouver. Not only did we do all the wedding function we also squeezed in a trip up to Whistler Mountain, which by the way was just beautiful, I don't really have the words, maybe breath taking, but that still doesn't do it justice. We got to see all the preparations that are going on for the winter Olympics in 2010, the kids got to see snow, something that just doesn't happen in Singapore, well not naturally. We tried to see as much as we could in between all the function's. What a beautiful city Vancouver is, we had the best weather, which we are very thankful for - nothing but sunshine. It was nice to breath in some fresh, clean, cool air, something we haven't done for a while, well it seems like forever. We have even talked about going back, but we will see, there is always another places to visit.

Here's the picture of the Bestest Man....

Did I mention what a great wedding it was..... Looking forward to Part II down in Kangaroo Valley on the 18th October, we get to do the whole reception again - can't wait.

THEY FINALLY DID IT YEHAAAAAAA

And what a wedding it was, I suppose after 15 years of chasing each other around the world, it would want to be great. It was, the celebrating started with the bucks weekend (well 4 days actually) then we had a get to meet everyone night. Then came the rehearsal dinner, then the actual wedding and to finish it off a brunch on the Sunday - WOW. We had a fantastic time, Dianna and David looked so very very happy. We met some great Canadians, boy do they like to drink - nearly as much as the Australians. Dianna's family are wonderful warm and funny and were an absolute joy to spend time with and The Cochrane's, well they feel just like family and are all such great people. When all was over at about 1pm Sunday, we were all so very tired, party out BUT wait we were still trying to squeeze one more get together in before we all went our own ways - thankfully that didn't happen. What a fantastic time was has in just the most fantastic place.

Oh did I mention how great the bestman looked.......
