How come Sunday night arrives so fast?

And then the weekend was over - it has been crazy busy.  We knew it would be and we were semi-prepared for dinner tonight.  Awesome ribeyes from our local butcher on the BBQ and wasabi-potato salad (yes we stole it from the Hamiltons - credit where it's due).

Managed to get a run in at Macritchie Resevoir early this morning (that &  Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is something I need to get on the blog),  a swim and volleyball with the kids.  Yes there was footy - plenty -  both days.  Noodle and Monkey both played great games over the weekend.  Jenaya managed to squeeze in a track and field meet at the Singapore American School on Saturday too.  Tonight's U14 game for noodle  got washed out with lightning strikes .....   next week Naya!

We had Gav and Jeff over for a quiet Friday night meal.  Spritely Jeffrey preparing for the Wanderer's 2nd's grandfinal (dad's army alive and well).   Soup was amazing Niccos and we will rustle a photo and add soon.  But here is the Riddoch that we washed it down with.
