Has an underwater camera also. She loved Kai's so much, that she dug deep into her money box and came up with the cash to purchase one herself. So now she is a proud owner of a green underwater camera...... Oh and she is having a hoot with it......

Just A Cool
Photo that Noodle took with our little point and shoot - looks like I have some competition !
So Saturday
We had a wedding to go to.
Not the usual Aussie bash - it was a Muslim Celebration.
These weddings are so much fun, the family are the sweetest family - so welcoming to us all.
One thing you realise is how lucky we are and how easy we get it when we get married. We turn up get married then head off to a beautiful restaurant - drink, eat, maybe a dance and of course be merry.
A Muslim wedding last forever for the bride and groom.
We were invited to the lunch part of the celebrations - they started at 11am went all the way through to 5pm, then there is the official part of the celebrations that start sometime after 5 and go to whenever. For the day time celebration you can turn up at anytime, stay for any amount of time, so us being us (and we also wanted to see the bride & groom) we turned up right on lunch time yummmmm the food is sensational and so are all the festivities. So much fun watching all the traditions and tasting all the great Muslim food - the prawns by the way were to die for.

What A Week Noodle Has Had !!
And it's only Wednesday......... Last night was the CIS Sports Banquet for Jenaya and Kai boy. They both played a couple of school sports this year, Kai participating in U12 basketball and U12 Soccer and Noodle U14 Badminton and U14 Soccer - which she captained the team. As always is was a great night at school catching up with everyone and seeing all the kids, but I think Noodle might say the best part of the night was the awards part......

YAY Noodle not only can you kick you can whack too - great work. Kai boy maybe next year when you might nearly be the same height as some of the boys in your team hehehehehe.
Congratulations to you both, you both are such great sportspeople, you turn up for every training session and every game and always give 200%. You both make us so very proud !!

What A Weekend Of
Football. Sunday was the last competition day of The Super League - a 6 week comp that Jenaya and Kai had been competing in. Also Sunday saw the end of season presentations and awards.
This week we had a later kick off - with Jenaya first out of the starting blocks with a game at 11is. What a fantastic game the little noodle played - great way to end the season for her or was it ? We will come back to this. Then Kai followed closely with his game at 12.30. Results - Kai boy scored 3 goals, one very sweet one, the others were pretty nice also. Anywho his team went through the competition undefeated - great run up for the next big tournament - Gothia Cup. Some very nice football played by both Jenaya and Kai.
Next a coaching clinic with Olivier Dacourt who has played with Everton & Leeds, which they both loved - Noodle being the only chickie babe there.
So we are up to about 7hours at the football pitch now, then the presentation nights starts and all I can say is WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO.
We had been notified that one of the kidlets had been nominated for an award that night and they have 2 awards for each age group - "Most Improved" & "MVP". Now Kai has only been at the club for 8 weeks and Jenaya 12 months - but we really didn't know whether it was Noodle or Kai man ?
