Not the usual Aussie bash - it was a Muslim Celebration.
These weddings are so much fun, the family are the sweetest family - so welcoming to us all.
One thing you realise is how lucky we are and how easy we get it when we get married. We turn up get married then head off to a beautiful restaurant - drink, eat, maybe a dance and of course be merry.
A Muslim wedding last forever for the bride and groom.
We were invited to the lunch part of the celebrations - they started at 11am went all the way through to 5pm, then there is the official part of the celebrations that start sometime after 5 and go to whenever. For the day time celebration you can turn up at anytime, stay for any amount of time, so us being us (and we also wanted to see the bride & groom) we turned up right on lunch time yummmmm the food is sensational and so are all the festivities. So much fun watching all the traditions and tasting all the great Muslim food - the prawns by the way were to die for.
