Hello Again.

I know it has been a little while since our last entry, but what can I say, life has been very busy or maybe we have been a little slack who knows, but we're back. So much has been happening, Jenaya and Kai finally went back to school after 3 weeks of fun. I know this might sound a little strange but I did miss them on their first day back, but I'm over that now.
We now have 2 turtles, Pip and Mr Bubbles, these two creatures moved in 1 week ago. They don't do a great deal, but the Kiddies love them at the moment. I have already started to look around where I will be able to release them when they are fully grown (app. 30cm in length).
We have had another visitor, Dave Cochrane dropped by for a couple of days. As usual, lots of fun catching up with DC.
The big fella, Marty Moose has injured himself playing football. He has popped his calf muscle and is out of the game for about 4 weeks and not much use to anyone. I'm still recovering from a girls nightout, I certainly feel my age if not 10 years older, at the moment.
Life at Club Moose has been pretty fine I must say, hope life is treating you all well.

Super Duper Saturday

saw Jenaya and Kai's footie season come to an end. The weather was perfect, if you like playing football in the heat and humidity. Both kids walked away with trophey's galore and best of all smiles on their little red sweaty faces. What a great time we all had, bring on 2008/09 season...
Saturday also saw the quick, but fun visit from big brother Craig. It was fantastic to catch up with him ,even though it was only one night, but a fun night was had by all. For us it was a chance for him to meet some great friends that we have made here and also to check out our new home. Now we are looking forward to our next visitor, Unlce David with the moo moo cows......giddy up.

Happy anniversary to, two very Special Friends, Catherine and David, we hope you both enjoyed your day. Here's to another 17 fun filled years. Love & kisses xxxxx

Meet Larry (aka Squirt).....

Club Moose has a visitor, He's cute, he's quiet, he doesn't do a great deal, but boy are we all having fun with Squirt. We are turtle sitting this little fella for 5 days while Kai's bestest buddy (at the moment) Harry is on holidays. The big question is will he survive the Club Moose house hold ????? Kai would like to show him around the condo, maybe even take him to the playground, just to see how fast turtles can go down the slide. Then there's the pool, that also is a great idea, maybe he would like to go in the spa as that's not as deep as the big pool ??? who knows if Squirt want's to do any of these things, it's hard to get him talking, but Kai is working on him. Knowing the Moose men I'm sure by day 4 we should have an answer on what he would really love to do..... We wish you well Squirt.

One Down Two to go....

Well I have survived the first week of the school holidays and I must say we have been having loads of fun. We haven't done anything that is earth shattering, but it has been very enjoyable. Lots of swimming, lots water fights, lots of fun in the sun and even a snow fight....... Snow fight, yes that's right, a snow fight. Last Wednesday we slipped our jeans on, got out a thickest winter socks, scratch through the draws for that long sleeve shirt and headed out to Snow City. I can't remember the last time any of us mentioned these words.....Gosh I'm cold....and here we were in the middle of Singapore and we were cold. The Kids had a fantastic couple of hours in the snow with their new friends sliding down a snow covered hill, throwing snow balls, sitting in an igloo, having cold fun.

Back to reality, our time was up in Snow City, so back out to the real world, peel off the jeans, slip the singlet tops back on and head for the nearest pool. What a great day and it was nice being that cold even if is was only for 2 hours.

Who knows what week two will bring, but if we only have half the fun of our first week I think it will be just as enjoyable.
I just put the photo on the right in of a storm we had one afternoon last week, I think it might have been the best storm we have seen since arriving here..

A happy holiday wish for Catherine and David, we hope you both enjoy your holidays. I don't know what you are up to, but knowing you two it will be some wonderful adventure that I wish I was coming on.

School Holidays....

Have begun, one of many times of the year that Mother's fear.....The questions that start even before the last school bell has rung... What to do, where to go, who can we invite over ?. Well we are into day 2, so far so good. We are lucky that we live in a condo, so kids on tap to play with - got to love that. Have a large pool at condo - really love that and last but not least - Singapore weather...... do love this, basically the same everyday (bit like groundhog day) hot, hotter and then there is even hotter. Perfect pool weather, perfect school holiday weather, but like I said it is early days, so I'm sure my next blog entry about my delightful children and their friends won't sound so inviting.....This probable doesn't sound inviting to some of you now....

On another note today is Karen's (Marty's sister) birthday, so a huge happy birthday wish for you Karen, we hope the family is spoiling you and you have had a great day. Love Marty, Nic, Jenaya and Kai. xxxx

So until next time......
