We had a absolutely fabulous time, we caught up with lots of people, we got to celebrate Mum & Dad's 50th Wedding anniversary (photo's will be in another post sorry), we travelled around, hit the beaches, hit the shops and basically had a hoot. It was great to get the whole Goodacre Family together - something that has never been achieved before. So thank you everyone who gave us bed for the night or week, maybe 2, for the dinners, lunches and breakfast's thank you thank you thank you !!

So Today Mrs Moose
Went on an adventure, not my first by myself. Monday I had to go to Kowloon to the school uniform shop - which was fun. Today I went to Time Square near Causeway Bay to meet a girlfriend for lunch. It was a new Korean Street food restaurant, the food was yummo - but not great for the old blood sugar, still trying to work out if it was the food or the strawberry drink that we had with the food to help with the spiciness of all the food. Anywhoo had a fantastic day out with Miss Bonnie.
The dish above was extremely spicy
First Day At School
Photo's, as promised........ Not a great photo, Moose man needs to practice more : )
Kai's PE uniform - he is in house Orca !!
Pretty angry looking Orca ?

We Have Arrived
Unpacked and set our new home up.
It has been a pretty busy 18 days since we took possession of our apartment. Boxes unpacked, furniture built (pretty happy if I never see another piece of Ikea furniture ever) stuff put away - whether or not it is put away exactly where I want it, only time will tell.
Survived our first Typhoon T 8 (one of the highest ) last Wednesday -Very windy some rain but all in all we were a tad disappointed !! Basically the whole city closes down, no public transport, no Taxi's (well extra cash will help find one) No nothing....... Since then the weather has been pretty ordinary, but very humid - today it is 87%, but a lovely sea gust.
Jenaya started school last Thursday, and absolutely loved it YAY. She has hooked up with a nice group of girls, they even hit the movies after school last Friday. Kai starts school tomorrow. He met his teacher on Friday and checked out his new class room and school, so fingers crossed that he enjoys the new school as much as Noodle. (photo's of them both in new uniforms will appear in the next couple of days).
Hong Kong ID cards for all of us have been done, now just waiting for the official card. This is very handy to have, because without this baby you basically can get a big fat nothing done. Drivers license's are next which by all accounts very easy to get. No test, just a copy of our Australian license and ID card. Then a car would be handy !!
Anywho, everyone has settled in very well, even Daisy dog has taken well to apartment living, maybe too well. No photo's right now of the new abode - but I will get on to that today.
Below are some photo's of the beautiful sunsets we have had.

Moving on ... just boxes ?
So it comes down to this - a living room full of boxes. 305 of them to be precise.
Saturday: The boxes all loaded into the container. Nicole had been preparing for a good month - so it was no surprise that it ran like clock work from start (Tuesday) to finish , Saturday. And Nic reckons I'm a control freak ? sheesh. The moving Co crew leader Naz, was on top of everything else, a good bunch of guys and it all went smoothly.
We managed a nice dinner at Jumbo Seafood last night with old friends from New York, Paul & Ellen Johnson, and their great kids Julie, Kurt and Katerina. Pepper crab, S&P prawns, whole fish ......
Sunday: This afternoon there is some sense of relief. We were just at the house to do last minute clean-up, and double check everything before the handover to the landlord on Tuesday afternoon. "Home" now - we are in a serviced apartment for a week and have been down to the pool for a swim. Our friendly local butcher who we have supported over the last four years has offered to cook us a roast this evening which we accepted and will collect at 6pm, followed by a quiet glass of vino and early to bed I suspect !

looking forward to seeing the container in Hong Kong with contents intact!

YAY Noodle & Kai
Last night was the end of season presentation night for Jenaya & Kai's football club here in Singapore. What a fun night it was and what a successful night it was for our little kidlets.
Noodle walked away with MVP U15 Girls & Player of the year Girl woot woot. Noodle works so hard at her football, she is so committed, hardly ever misses a training session 3 times a week, never misses a game and is always keen for a extra game or 3. She joined the track & field team at school, because she knew the extra training would help with her with her football - Congrats Noodle you make us so proud that you put so much effort into your dream.
Kai has had a super football year also, his Premiership team came in second in the JSSL Arsenal competition and Kai was also nominated for most improved for the year - so YAY Kai.
