The sun was shinning, the water looked cool and refreshing, excitment filled the air, tention was thick on the faces of the young competitors. Race Day had arrived. There sat the teams, Argentina, Norway and Ghana. Who would win the day....... Avondal Grammar's first swimming carnival had arrived. Weeks of training, well ok maybe a quick lap or two on the weekend, anyway I think I've set the scene for you all. Jenaya and Kai had a great and very successful day, their team Norway won the day, with Jenaya captaining the team and Kai enjoying his first ever swim carnival and one Mum, very horse from shouting N O R W A Y, N O R W A Y.
