Not Long Now Till

The little fella, my baby, Kai boy turns 9.

Now everyone loves a birthday and with birthday's comes birthday present's YAY YAY YAY.

Anywho - the first birthday present has turned up, been unwrapped and even worn to bed on the first night of arriving. So this is how it works with Kai boy - if he likes the t-shirt it get's worn to bed. If he loves the t-shirt it gets worn to bed, then again when you get up and as soon as you get home from school he will slip it back on.....

So folks we have a winner - all the way from Zurich, Switzerland I present to you the T-Shirt of the moment (and pretty sure for a long while to come) drum roll please

Last weekend Jenaya and Kai both played in the ANZA Invitational Soccer Cup. Teams from all over Asia competed, there was something like 200 - 250 teams - what a tournament.

Kai's team was playing in the under 8's division and Jenaya's team played in the under 16's division.

What a great tournament for both of their teams.

Jenaya's team finished the tournament 3rd from 6 teams and Kai's team finished 2nd out of 22 teams. Competition was tough in both their divisions with one of the girls teams in Jenaya's division a semi professional outfit (they won the cup) very impressive team.

Kai's team went all the way through to the grand final undefeated - with no goals against, but the team that they played in the grand final saved their best for last. The young lads tried so very hard but came up short - but what a great tournament, with only 2 training sessions under their belts - they were on fire.

Jenaya's team played extremely well also but 12 and 13 year old's playing against 15 and 16 year old's - well - they build them big in Asia....

Lots of fun was had by us all and Singapore weather performed.....

Yesterday Was The Last

Day of the soccer season YAY YAY YAY........ And it was only in the mid to low 30's so nice and cool !!

When I say last day well....Last day of ANZA competition. Next weekend we have the ANZA/Novotel tournament, Jenaya and Kai are both in the ANZA teams, so one last weekend of football then we get a brake for 12 weeks !!!!

Was Awesome........

Apparently a lot better than Cooma ? Go figure....

Snorkeling, bush treks, holding snakes, chasing lizard's, some more snorkeling, studying the eco system, tidal studies, oh and she even had time to take some great photo's.......

We might have an Environmental Scientist or biologist on our hands. (glad she went to Tioman instead of Cooma)

More New Furniture

This time it is outdoor furniture.

Oh I even threw in a beautiful tray come table just to jazz it up.

Betcha want to visit now - well too bad we are all booked up......
